06 Apr Smoke Alarms in Rental Property Some photos of wireless heat detectors and smoke alarms which were installed in a rental property recently. The whole job was to install 3 smoke alarms - one in the living room, one at the top stairs landing and one at the bottom of the stairs, and one heat alarm in the kitchen. They are wirelessly linked so that when one goes off, they all go off. Once installed, the wireless link was fairly easy to do. It also saves having to run wires between the alarms.
